Consultation Fee
There is an initial consultation flat fee of $200. The initial consultation meeting is for one hour. The rate thereafter is $310 per hour. The firm also provides certain services at a flat fee.
Legal Advice Prior to Buying A Franchise: The firm provides a flat fee of $1500 for clients who seek legal advice prior to buying a franchise and want a more in depth legal review of the franchise agreement. That fee includes a one hour initial meeting with Peter Greenfeld, review and analysis of the applicable franchise agreement and UFOC, another one hour meeting and a written memorandum of findings, conclusions and recommendations. As part of your flat fee review, the firm:
- Tells you what is typical in many franchise agreements.
- Suggests which parts of your franchise contract you may want to negotiate and provides recommendations that better suit your interests.
- Informs you of key topics in current franchise litigation and disputes and point them out in your franchise contract.
- Explains what the franchisor is supposed to disclose in different sections of the UFOC.
If further in depth services are required, they will be billed at the hourly rate for Mr. Greenfeld.
